Our filter inserts are characterized by a high dirt holding capacity and a long service life, the result of an optimum and continuously improved pleat geometry. A 100% seal is guaranteed by high-quality adhesive connections, seals and seal profiles. A uniform pore size achieves maximum particle separation efficiency with low flow resistance. The precise and uniform spacing of the pleats which is achieved by a special paper embossing and scoring process, guarantees optimal filter function for the entire life of the filter. Hengst filters are particularly stable under high pressure conditions on account of the optimum configuration of the spacers. The life of the filter is lengthened by the use of aging-resistant impregnation. The carefully selected combination of fibers achieves an optimum separation efficiency.

Filter paper

The filter paper plays an important role in filtration. Filter papers are specially engineered papers designed to the strictest quality requirements. Their fiber and pore structure as well as the filtration grade are criteria that must be guaranteed by the paper manufacturers according to Hengst’s specifications.
