Filter inserts for electric discharge wire machining, electric discharge machining and spark erosion equipment
Hengst erosion filters are used to ensure that the dielectric is not impaired by material removed from the workpiece or the electrodes and to prevent major impurities which could lead to disruptions in the erosion process or even to short circuits between the workpiece and the electrodes. The customer can select from a comprehensive line of products: plate and cartridge filters, galvanized and coated variants as well as inserts with and without couplings. The long service life and improved resistance to collapsing is guaranteed by pleats with patented Hengst embossing. Erosion filter elements are available with micron ratings of 2 to 30 µm.
